The Studio D’Artisan 5712 Arrow Kasuri Sashiko Shirt merges traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a timeless workwear aesthetic. Crafted from 100% cotton Arrow Kasuri indigo sashiko fabric, it features the historic Yagasuri (arrow feather) motif, a pattern long associated with samurai and good fortune. The fabric’s double-woven sashiko construction provides a distinctive texture with multi-directional flexibility, making it both durable and comfortable. A one-wash treatment enhances the depth of the indigo, setting the stage for a rich patina to develop over time. Functional details include double flap chest pockets, custom indigo-dyed piping, and a nut button front closure. Finished with a square-cut hem for a clean, structured look, this piece embodies the essence of heritage craftsmanship while remaining effortlessly wearable—future vintage in the making.

Fit Notes: Studio has a really trim fit in general. These shirts tend to fit on the slimmer side, but luckily these have a roomier chest. The size 42, or large was honestly a pretty great fit for Tommy with the straight leg pant. We would still consider it tailored, but not tight. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
